Nine and a half months! I can't even believe it my precious boy! You have grown and changed so much over the past few months. You are now crawling everywhere and pulling up on anything you can get your hands on. I think it won't be long before you are taking your first steps. You are also babbling all the time, and the sound of your "dadadada's and bababab's" are so sweet to our ears!
Right now your sleep schedule seems to be a little off since the ending of daylight savings time. Yesterday, you woke up once at 4:30am to eat and then slept until 8. Today you woke up for the first time at 6:45am and were ready to begin your day. I can't decide which option I like better. I definitely don't enjoy the 4:00am wake-up, but I'm also not use to starting the day at 6:45am either.
You are now eating 3 meals of solid food a day. Some days you seem to really enjoy eating solids, and other days you seem sort of offended that I would ever try to give you pureed peas for lunch. I don't really blame you, I wouldn't be happy either, but I am just doing what is recommended! You definitely have a bit of a sweet tooth. You much prefer fruit to vegetables and you get sort upset if I give you too many bites of vegetables without sneaking in a bit of the sweet fruit.
Days with you are prettylaid back. Some of your favorite things to do are playing in your room, going on walks, chasing Lady (who does not really like to be chased), swinging at the park, going to story time, and you love getting to play with other kids. You really seem to ham it up when you get a chance to play with our neighbor Elliot who is 2.5 months younger than you. You seem to know that she is not quite able to crawl and pull up yet so you sort of crawl all around her and seem to like showing off her for. You also love playing with Sam and Judah. You think anything Sam does is hilarious, but get quite upset if he doesn't want you to play with his trains.
I seem to find myself looking even more to the Holidays this year. I can't wait for you to see all your family in Dallas again and am looking forward to you getting a chance to play with your cousin Carter. The idea of you wearing cute Christmas pj's and playing with wrapping paper and bows this year also warms my heart!
Well my love, I could just go on and on about how precious you are. Daddy and I are so blessed and thankful to get to be your parents. We treasure every moment we get to spend with you. You are truly a perfect gift from the Lord.
And now, a whole lot of pictures from the past 2.5 months!
