Day 78: The Royal Bloodline

Well, the time had finally come to make known the existence of Wadesy to my fantasy football league. So in lieu of a full post on the blog, our friends over at ESPN.com have full coverage of The Announcement. Reading the article, written brilliantly by Skip Raines, will go a long way in helping you understand why our baby is wearing a Shriners Potentate Fez in our newest sonogram below.


As for a baby update, we are officially past 11 weeks! The Westside Pregnancy Clinic needed volunteers for a free sonogram to help train one of their nurses, so we got a second one on Saturday (as you saw above). They have a little nicer machine, so we got a better view of Wadesy, and he/she was still kicking, although not quite as much as before. But we're pretty sure we got a smile and wave at the camera.

If you think about it this week, keep praying for Gill's nausea - she's obviously really sick of feeling so crummy all day. But on the bright side, we've really gotten the most out of our Netflix subscription (Gill doesn't find this fact very comforting).
