Day 97: The 1st Annual Wadesy Baby Bowl

You heard right. Welcome to the 1st Annual Wadesy Baby Bowl! Inspired by past Wade-branded bowls and pools (although admittedly the brainchild of Stephen Keating), the Wadesy Baby Bowl will test your predictive knowledge in three categories.

1. Sex
Obviously, this will come sooner than the other two, and will probably cut the pool in half (if I'm doing the complicated math correctly). We have been told that we can find this out at 16 weeks, but have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and there's an outside chance it'll happen then. But don't worry, we won't announce it until the weekend if we do, so everyone has a full week to enter the Bowl.

2. Birth date
This is the most common bet-upon category, and according to my sources, usually the most unpredictable. But here's some info that might help:

• Our due date is currently January 29th
• Gillean was born 1 week late
• Stewart was born 3 weeks early (I've been told this doesn't matter much)

And just for clarification, you don't have to worry about going over - this isn't the Price is Right. The results will be judged on how many days you were off by, whether you were over or under.

3. Weight
This is the final category of the Bowl. And again, like the date, it's okay to be over or under. But you have to get specific, which means guessing pounds and ounces. Here's some info to help you here:

• Gillean was an 8-pound baby
• Stewart was a 7-pound baby (3 weeks early - I would have been HUGE)

Now, I'm sure you have some questions:

A) Well, you're right about one thing - it IS an awesome prize. One fun-filled morning breakfast with the newest member of the Wade family, Wadesy Baby (and his/her parents, of course). If you're in LA, we'll hit up the Ocean Park Cafe, and if you're in Dallas, we'll visit our favorite haunt Bubba's for some delicious food and glorious fellowship. If you're elsewhere, well, we'll just have to figure it out.
